First Attempt at Congee

I thought abalone porridge would be a great comfort food for the MC-ed me, & promptly searched for good recipes this morn! Check this out.. =P

Lucky mum got to try it first-hand ‘coz she came over to chill. Heh. My first attempt at congee.. *ching..*

It was not too bad an attempt.. at least it didn’t fail like the aglio olio.. =) Coincidentally we also had two chicken drumsticks at home meant for Yuan’s cooking experiment hahaha! I just made use of whatever we have la, didn’t go shopping for this. =)

Oh haha & Ding just woke up only – she was zzzping on Mummy for more than 1 hr! I was telling Mummy that she looks like a kangeroo wif a baby in the pouch haha. See below =D

She was sooo well-behaved! =D

Lily> Hee yes the congee was smooth, after about 1 hr or so of simmering =D Not too long to wait in my opinion to get smooth porridge.. I will definitely cook congee again =D

Sigh the pasta was tasteless la. Maybe the truffle olive oil was not suitable >_< sad lorz, we bought it from the honeymoon and didn't have much chance to use.
