We’ve been thinking about this on-off & as the initial euphoria over the wedding gradually subsides, the feelings become even more apparent. I need to get this off my chest!

Weddings, weddings. I guess it’s a day when you’re most happy & also a day of many expectations. You’d expect your close friends to be there, simply because it’s the most impt day of your life & you’d really love to have their presence. You’d expect ppl whom you helped out at their weddings to want to come (duh!). You’d expect ppl who rsvped to turn up, and if they don’t – at least with a good reason. And of ‘coz, you’d expect ppl who are not turning up to at least have the decency/ courtesy to inform you! Unfortunately, I can think of one such person who said he wanted to come/ didn’t come & didn’t inform beforehand/ is not saying anything till now! What kind of person is this??? And of ‘coz ppl who inform 1-2 days before the wedding/ on the day of the wedding are not helping.. =/

The disappointments are one & many but at least I think we know who really cares =) This is the flipside of an otherwise very happy day for us & I think we just need to redefine some of our relationships =)
