Wedding Day Photos Collation

It’s been 1 week since our return from the honeymoon and today’s my first full-day of return to the office.. -_-”
Although it’s technically a short week, because of the coming long weekend (woo hoo!), we’re still feeling blue, blue & very blue.. err..
The jet lag’s not helping (why does it last so long this time round?) & the house’s still messy.. =/ It’ll be nice if I just had 1 more mth off to sort out the stuff & get accustomed to the new life.. keke.
And the work’s silently creeping up to me! Sighz. I’m not ready.. still wanna nuah at home/ play with Pupu Dingding/ zzzzzz =P
We’re Back!
Helloz everyone & MERRY MERRY X’MAS! We’re back from the honeymoon, & I can finally sit down to write this entry with our new internet connection at the new house that just got activated this morning! 
The last post was on 安床 – didn’t realise it was so long ago & I think we must have been toooo busy in the last few days leading up to the wedding to blog.. =) I recall the last 3 days being a mad rush to confirm the table arrangement, emcee script, etc.. and my own speech was only scribbled onto a piece of paper the night before the wedding at 11pm! Haha!
The wedding took place without any major hiccups & we’re grateful for that =D Many thanks to all the bros and sisters for being part of that day & we really appreciate your company & help – catch up with you soon! Not to forget the quartet who presented the lovely item at the banquet - thank you & we owe you a treat! =D The next day, it was yet another mad rush to return the gown/ suit, bank in money, pay money, visit both side families before jetting off.. so hectic! Now that all this is over.. we can slowly adjust into our new lives – a truly exciting one with Pupu Dingding to love every day. Hee!
Wu’s meeting us to pass us the photos next week – we’re eagerly awaiting! And the video should be ready by 6 Jan. Honeymoon photos are numerous & we should be blogging about it separately. =) Meanwhile, let me show you a couple of fav pics from the trip. We found Switz the most breathtaking..

So the 安床 was yesterday! =) It’s nice to see the bed put down/ sheets in use after sooooooo long =)
It’s going to be easier explaining with the pics, so..

Close-up of the bed. You can see the red lamps from IKEA here (converted into wedding lamps) & the cute dolls from Nel & Bel last year at our ROM (they’re the same colour as the oranges! Haha!) Their clothes are also matching with the sheets =)
Some gifts we’ve had so far – the pretty glasses from Bali & Muisee wif the ‘K’ and ‘S’ charms and the cute ceramic painting from Yuan’s colleagues.

The Wedding Rehearsal
Went to Sheraton for our banquet rehearsal today, & am happy! (am always happy to go to Sheraton haa).
The guitarists cum songstresses went for the rehearsal too, & they bo bian got to let us hear them rehearsing ‘coz we’re ALWAYS in the ballroom.. kekeke. It was such a lovely ensemble of songs & I really enjoyed watching them rehearse. To Lily, Andrea & Steven: please do not stress! No matter what 我们都会很喜欢你们的演出! =)
We met our banquet coordinator too & he was rather nice. Briefed us on the champagne pouring, cake cutting and march-in, etc. but all was theoretical.. I thought we’ll get to rehearse the march-in! Alamak.. that day nv walk in gracefully how? Hehehe.
Btw.. I’m on leave from tml onwards so am in a VERY good mood. As usual, pics below yeah.
Hmm.. the lace accessory I chose for my hair, probably for the morning 造型 =)
Everybody watching them rehearse – Lily is also singing! & she was soooo naughty to sing “ba tou yao yao” song.. Yuan looked at her & then me wif disbelief. Wahaha.
& you see that fake cake? I was enquiring abt the gold themed one (if any) and Valerie said it’s in ICU.. bleah. So yes, we’re cutting this cake =)

Down to the Final Week
Yep.. time ignored our earnest request and continue to zip by us..
Thankfully, ALOT of things are settled – videos, music, briefings, clothes, shoes, gifts..
& the long weekend was really helpful! Thank God for it. =)
Things we did over the past few days (including today) of worthy mention:
- Met Nel & Bel for dinner on Thurs
- Brought Pu the sweetheart to the vet on Sat – she’s almost recovered! =)
- 姐妹 party on Sun
- Gown fitting today
It’s a hectic, hectic period for us. Hotel’s rehearsal tml. I need to relax..

I love the setting! But table abit too small for more food.. haa.
& I regret taking soooo few pics of the party (eh.. this were the only 2 I took of the 姐妹s =S ). Too busy hanging out in the kitchen/ serving food/ taking 姐妹s on house tours liaoz. Haha.
OK.. you can catch a glimpse of me and Grace and Bali here (think Muisee took this pic). Shld have ‘empowered’ one of them to take pics! Haa.

姐妹 Party, 29 Nov 09
Finally, have some time to think about the 姐妹 party & what to do! =D
List of things to do (messy thoughts; not in any order):
- Tour of the new home (haha for those who have not seen it yet)
- Briefing on wedding day itinerary & roles
- Sharing of ideas for the gatecrashing segment – 姐妹s pls come prepared wif your unique ideas! Keke. The segment shld not last > 40 min
- Ring corsage fitting session (haha this is just for fun)
- Late High-tea going into dinnertime (pls eat something light for lunch!)
- Watch a movie (optional; if we have time) =P
Hmm I guess we can start ard 4.30pm and it’s estimated to end around 9pm. Looking forward to seeing you all & I hope we’ll all have fun! =)

2 Weeks Countdown
It’s the final 2 weeks countdown – the wedding’s coming REALLY soon!!! :O
Thurs was the treat from Mary for the wedding @ the very nice Japanese Dining Bar (10q Mary!), Fri was the meetup wif my HTAC friends for our 1 yr reunion @ Brewerkz, Sat was wine-shopping for the banquet followed by loads of shopping at Vivo, & Sun (today) was a major springcleaning session of our new home in preparation for the wedding! ;P Hubby Yuanyuan deserves loads of praise for doing all the windows and toilets in addition to the usual stuff - REALLY tough job! :S
And we put up some of the shuangxi liaoz; the house looks so auspicious now! Hmm pair it wif a spanking new X’mas tree & it looks really east-west fusion.. funny! =D

Woo.. yummy pizza dinner after all that hard work.. hardly the recommended pre-wedding sorta diet. Haha.
